The beach submarine on Hout Bay beach today was a fake!
What started out as a funny attempt @ some satire, developed into a great discussion on twitter. Thanks to this posting on 790Tv, Hout Bay in fact trended. This all thanks to people re-tweeting the post, and clearly topical with the debacle that is happening on Clifton beach.
Would it not be great if the trawler on Clifton beach could be removed just as easily?
Would it not be great if we could stop poaching in our bay?
If you were out walking on the beach this morning you would have seen this beached submarine. From initial reports, authorities are saying it is a stranded poaching submarine, that moves illegally caught perlemoen and crayfish “offshore”. No one knows the cause yet of the incident.
Authorities have asked that people do not climb on the vessel!
